Online Translation Tools

Machine translation is hindered by the complexity and nuances of human language. However, these tools can help provide a starting point for manual translation.

IBM Alphaworks Word 2 Word. Language pairs are limited.
Altavista Babelfish. The first well-known tool thanks to the success at the time of DEC's Search Engine.
Systran. Powers Altavista's Babelfish. Will translate longer pages - HTML limit is 32768 bytes. Multiple translations requires registration.
Google Language Tools. Will only translate beginning of page.
Worldlingo. Results similar to Google. Only translates section of a page at a time, but provides buttons to translate previous and next page sections.
Free Translation. SDL International.
Microsoft Live Translator
